These stone hearths will add elegance and complete the picture for any fireplace installation. Wood burning fires should have a hearth to conform to standard but a gas fire doesn't necessarily have to have one. With gas fires it's all about the look.

traditional modern

Both traditional and modern styles are available and in most cases we are able to customise exactly to your requirements.

black granite polished 3

Black polished granite is a favorite choice so we keep several sizes on hand.

The word 'hearth' has different meanings in different countries but here in Australia we refer to the protective, non combustible surface on which we place a slow combustion wood heater or the front floor section of an open fire. A fireplace hearth is required if you are installing a wood heater on a timber or carpet floor. Most gas heaters do not require a hearth but you may want to use one anyway. We will have a new selection of glass hearths soon!
